My name is Ian Richard and I make games. But what does that really mean?
I've shipped 4 video games on console and mobile as a programmer.
I've shipped 3 traditionally published tabletop game.
I run my own commercial eBook gaming brand called Diceman Games.
I have a twitch channel where I explore the obscure and the forgotten games across gaming history and developed the "VirtuaRoom" where viewers can directly interact on my screen as I play the games.
To say that "I'm just a programmer" or "Just a game designer" doesn't accurately represent who I am or what I can do. In the game development world, I've done everything from programming to design, to contract negotiations.
But a simple "I make games" sums up my experiences.
The best part of my background is that is that I've had a chance to continually learn, adapt and evolve my knowledge and skill set.
